Background
Simutrek is a video game company known for creating Cube Quest, the first game to use real-time 3D computer graphics.
Logo (December 1983)
Visuals: On a moving space background, some spinning lines which appear to form an S zoom out to the left. The letters "SIMUTREK" in a red italic font similar to an LCD display come in from the right. A red segmented S logo appears on the left over the spinning lines, and the spinning lines fade out. The text "P R E S E N T S" appears under the logo in a serif font, and the copyright notices "©Simutrek, Inc. 1983" and "℗Simutrek, Inc. 1983" appear at the bottom. The copyright notices fade out, followed by the logo and "P R E S E N T S" text. Throughout the logo, the text "CUBE BUTTON FOR INSTRUCTIONS" and "CREDIT 0" with the "0" in yellow are at the top and bottom respectively.
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: Eerie, droning music with whooshes over it.
Availability: Seen only on the rare arcade game Cube Quest.
