Background

Sintax Technology Co. Ltd. (新特奇科技有限公司) was a Taiwanese video game company founded in Taichung, Taiwan. Originally the company developed educational PC software, but later moved to the development of unlicensed Game Boy Color games since the early 2000s, alongside publishing games developed by its related company BBD. Many of their games were unofficial bootlegs from franchises like Pokémon, Donkey Kong, Digimon, Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot, Spider-Man, and Harry Potter. The company also holds an office in the Jiangmen city of China.

(2001-2004)

Logo: Over a white background, we see the red text "SINTAX" in a futuristic font, with a drawing of a cable port representing the top line of the "T", extending to the top of the center of the screen. The logo flips while moving in slowly towards the camera within each flip cycle.

Technique: The logo flipping in.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Rare. Can be found on several unlicensed Game Boy Color games by the company, mostly from the franchises stated above. This may not appear in every GBC game by them, however.
