Background
SkipStone Pictures was founded in 2007 by Johnny Remo as a production company under Inspired Family Entertainment.
1st Logo (June 1, 2012-October 9, 2018)
Logo: Starting off on a lake with mist in a forest setting during sunset, a stone with a brown trail is skipped, which transitions into a ray of light within the "K" in "SKIPSTONE". The company's name in a stacked format and a peach color fades in with a burst effect before the light ray fades out.
Variant: On Saved by Grace the logo has a blue tint to it and is off-centered.
FX/SFX: The mist on the river, the wave effect on the background, the stone skipping, and the transition to the logo, all in cheap 2D animation.
Music/Sounds: A sad piano melody. The opening of the movie may begin when the company's name appears.
Availability: Rare. Seen on a few releases such as Hardflip, Saved By Grace, and F.R.E.D.I..
2nd Logo (May 29, 2020-)
Logo: We start off with a slow-motion clip of a blonde boy in a red, long-sleeved shirt and jeans stone skipping. As the camera pans up to reveal a valley with some trees, "SKIPSTONE" in 3D and in gold emerges from the water before "pictures" appears as well and the footage fades out.
FX/SFX: Live-action footage of the stone skipper and 3D animation of the text rising from the lake.
Music/Sounds: A majestic horn fanfare with water sounds to accompany the stone skipping and the logo rising from the lake.
Availability: Current. Debuted on Max Winslow and the House of Secrets and can be seen on more recent films from the company such as Monstrous.
