Skunk Games
1st Logo (2001-2004)
Logo: On a black background, we see the words "A GAME BY:" on top, and the skunk tails from before, only with stripes running through them this time. The logo unfolds, as the words "SKUNK STUDIOS" appear underneath, with "san francisco" in a spaced out font underneath.
Variants:
- Starting with every game after WordUp, the animation takes place on the opening credits of the game.
- On Spelvin, the title character hops on screen, then the logo zooms in as he starts dancing.
- On Tamale Loco: Rumble in the Desert II, the logo is already formed, and is brown on a beige background. The words "created by" are also on top.
FX/SFX: The logo unfolding, and the words appearing.
Music/Sounds: A slow hip-hop beat that ends in a sweep. Spelvin and WordUp use a dramatic jazz theme.
Availability: Common, appears on many of their games, such as QBeez, Gutterball 3D, Sveerz, Spelvin, WordUp, with the logo last appearing on Varmintz. All these games can be downloaded off their website.
Editor's Note: It's a favorite among those who grew up with their games.
2nd Logo (2004-2006)
Logo: A still version of the previous logo inside a box is shown on the game's loading screen, with "created by" appearing on top, and the works "SKUNK STUDIOS" are stacked on top of each other and placed to the right.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: Usually none, though Gutterball 2 has the opening theme play over.
Availability: Seen on later games by the company, such was Gutterball 2, Tennis Titans, Mah Jong Adventures and QBeez 2.
Editor's Note: Same as before.
