1st Logo (1980s)

Logo: On a zooming space background, we see a set of text flipping and zooming towards the camera. This is revealed to be "Solid Gold" in a yellow, cursive font with thin lines and "VIDEO" with each letter in between the lines. Shortly after, the logo resumes zooming to the bottom of the screen, eventually leaving it entirely.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: An upbeat, electronic fanfare.
