Background

Songtly Enterprise Co., Ltd. was an electronics company in Taipei, Taiwan that was involved in the manufacture and distribution of video game console clones and video games. It was founded on July 31, 1986, and would start producing hardware clones of the Famicom and Atari 2600 consoles during their late 80s. The company would shut down on November 1993.

Logo (January 31, 1993)

Visuals: Over a black background, there is a yellow stylistic outlined drawing of a cloud with a red "SOnGTLY" at the inside and 2 gold Chinese characters below. The entire logo slides from the right and eventually squeezes as it hits to the left. The logo moves back to the center. The copyright notice in yellow appears after it settles.

Technique: 2D sprite animation.

Audio: A loud retro descending sound with a thud noise.

Availability: Seen on Link Dragon.
