Bumper (October-December 2011)

Visuals:

  • First Bumper: The Sonic Generations logo is seen inside a wooden picture frame on a blue wall. The scene pans to Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic in separate frames, doing their taunt moves, to which the frames swing reactably. The scene then pans down and zooms into a yellow CRT TV showing gameplay footage from the game. Afterwards, it cuts to the PS3, PC, Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS copies of the game stacked together on a darker blue floor, over which the Sonic Generations logo slides in from the right. Two bites are taken out of the logo at the end.
  • Second Bumper: Modern and Classic Sonic do their taunt moves beside the copies of Sonic Generations and the logo already above.
  • Third Bumper: Same as the first bumper, but with different gameplay footage.

Technique: 2D animation, with the character CGI sourced from in-game.

Audio:

  • First and Third Bumpers: Gavin Inskip says "Double the attitude, double the action! Sonic... and Sonic! Sonic Generations, sponsors of The Simpsons". Two chomps are heard at the end. "Weapon of Choice" by Fatboy Slim plays throughout.

Availability: It was seen before, during, and after The Simpsons on Sky1 in Q4 2011.
