Background

Sony Music International is the worldwide distribution arm of Sony Music Entertainment.

1st Logo (2000s)

Logo: An orange wireframe globe zooms out spinning, later coming to a stop while still zooming out and turning blue. A laser light then shoots through the globe, passing through its inside vertically and then clashing through the bottom part of the screen, making a lightened ripple. A fireball then forms the text "Sony Music International", which then glows and turns brighter.

FX/SFX: The globe spinning and zooming out, the laser, and the fireball.

Music/Sounds: A dark humming sound, with a whoosh when the globe zooms out, and weapon-like sounds when the laser light passes through, followed by a muffled sound. Flaming noise when the fireball forms the text, then stopping with a hit.

Availability: Unknown.

2nd Logo (2000s)

Logo: On a black background, the text "Sony Music" in white with a blue glow quickly zooms out. A ripple effect then happens and the logo zooms into view briefly.

FX/SFX: Simple animation.

Music/Sounds: A pounding sound.

Availability: Was seen on Sony Music VCDs/DVDs distributed in Taiwan.
