Background

After Sandy Gillin retired in 1998, Dolly Parton became the sole owner of Sandollar and the company was renamed Southern Light Productions, though the "Sandollar" name remained in use on Buffy the Vampire Slayer-related media. The company went inactive until 2015, when it was resurrected as Dixie Pixie Productions.
