Background: Southern Oregon PBS is a PBS network for the region of southwest Oregon, based in Medford.

1st Logo
(February 20th 1985-March 2nd 1986?)

Logo: The word "KSYS" is in white with blue mountains superimposed on the intro of a show. Under "KSYS" is "8", "MEDFORD" and the PBS logo all of which are in a gray-white like colour. The mountains and text zoom to the screen very slowly.

FX/SFX: The zooming.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme to the show

Availability: Extinct. It was just found very recently. Can be found on episodes of "Downtown Gazette" on the American Archive for Public Broadcasting.
