Logo: On a black background, we see a yellow sparkler forming. It gets bigger, and the camera pans over to the right as we see a large gray 3D star-like object on the right. One of the sparks glides into the star, causing it fill up with light. We then zoom out, where it reveals the logo, which is the word “SPARK”, with the star acting as the “A”. The logo then flashes and turns orange.

Variants:

  • At the end of the animation reel for Call of Duty: Finest Hour, the still logo fades in. Three seconds later, a German soldier slides in from the right side. He stops at the S in “SPARK”, and does a salute. He jumps onto the S, and look behind him. He looks down at the S, clearly expecting it to deflate. He jumps on it five more times, and after that, he pulls out an MP40 submachine gun and shoots all 32 bullets into the S, where it deflates. He victoriously puts his gun over his shoulder, and the S pops back up, sending the soldier flying.
  • On Legendary, the logo is on a stone wall with a 1940’s styled target underneath. The logo is also illuminated by a spotlight.
  • On Lost Planet 3, the logo forms in after the Capcom logo, which is also a light blue colour. It is also superimposed on a space background.
  • On Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, the logo forms in from a red tracer effect. It also has some orange sparks around it, and is also interlaced.

FX/SFX: The sparkler forming, the spark gliding into the “A”, and the logo flashing.

Music/Sounds: The sound of a match being lit, followed a fast-paced orchestral fanfare composed by Michael Giacchino.

Music/Sounds Variant: On Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, we hear the sound of electrical crackling, and a whooshing sound when the spark falls into the logo, and then a drum fanfare when the logo is nearly finished.

Availability: Rare. The original version can be found on the company's first two titles: Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.
