Background
Spartina Productions is Stephen Colbert's company. While they were founded in 1999, they didn't use a logo until 2005.
(October 17, 2005- )
Logo: On a white background with black drawings, we see a poorly drawn crane with some randomly drawn lines on either side, and a pond below. A fish jumps out of the pond to the left of the crane, and then proceeds to eat the crane. The screen then transitions to a black one with the white text "SPA171MA", which is leet for "Spaitima".
Variant: More recently, the text at the end now reads simply SPARTINA.
FX/SFX: Hand-drawn animation.
Music/Sounds: A gobbling sound plays as the fish eats the crane.
Availability: Currently seen on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. This was also seen on The Colbert Report, the TV special A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All!, as well as on Our Cartoon President, Hell of A Week with Charlamagne tha God, and Fairview.
Editor's Note: None.
