Background

Speed Racer Enterprises was an American company that bought the rights to the Speed Racer franchise. In 2013, Tatsunoko, the original studio that produced Speed Racer, bought back the rights to it, and Speed Racer Enterprises likely shut down.

1st Logo (1993)

Visuals: On a blue background, there is a red and white checkered flag. In front of it, there are the stacked words "SPEED RACER" in yellow, with a "TM" trademark symbol at the bottom right side of the flag. Below the flag, there is "ENTERPRISES" in a smaller font, and under all this is a copyright notice that reads "© 1993 SPEED RACER ENTERPRISES" in white.

Variant: On The New Adventures of Speed Racer, the white text "EXECUTIVE PRODUCED by" is above the logo.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: The same dreamy five-note tune from the Sachs Family Entertainment logo.

Audio Variants:

On The New Adventures of Speed Racer, the closing theme of the show plays.
A low-pitched version exists on NTSC prints of Speed Racer.

Availability: Can be found on early 90s prints of Speed Racer. The variant appears on The New Adventures of Speed Racer.

2nd Logo (May 7, 2008-August 25, 2013)

Visuals: Over a black background, there are the big, red stacked words "SPEED RACER". Between the 2 "R"s, there is "ENTERPRISES INC." in white, with the latter word being smaller.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Variant: On later seasons of the show, the logo is in-credit.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Appears on Speed Racer: The Next Generation.
