Background

Spotlight Video was a British home video distributor.

Logo (Late 1990s)

Visuals: Over a searchlight runaway (a Cascom template), a spotlight shines up a black rectangle with a silver outline, along with a blue word "SPOTLIGHT" in it, as well as another spotlight making a part of the text and the outline yellow and the rectangle silver. The logo faces the screen afterwards, as the spotlight takes over the screen.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A reversed gong crash, followed by slow timpani hits.
