Background: Sree Raam Films International is a film and production company formed in Chennai, India in 1992 by Arjun Sarja.

1st Logo (1992-2001)

Nicknames: "India's Other Unintentionally Disturbing Logo"

Logo: On a black background, a white star flies to the middle of the screen and then begins drawing Lord Hanuman (the ardent devotee of Lord Rama) in white. The drawing of Hanuman then proceeds to rip his chest apart, making it bleed. A blue ring then zooms out and stops at the center, as Lord Rama, and Sita fade in Hanuman's ripped chest. A yellow ring then forms behind Hanuman's head, as the company's name in a blue, 3D font, circle around the outer side of the blue ring. The drawing of Hanuman then turns into a colored drawing of the same image, as the blue ring, and the text disappears. The image of Hanuman then zooms in.

FX/SFX: Everything.

Music/Sounds: A jingle consisting of a repeating four-note synth theme that starts during the drawing and continues throughout. Two piano flourishes play after the drawing finishes, a male voice begins chanting once he rips open his chest, and a repeating bass riff starts playing once the yellow ring forms.

Availability: Seen on Thutha Muththa, Sevagan, Pratap and Vedham.

Editor's Note: The actual concept of the logo is interesting. In the later parts of the Ramayana, Hanuman is gifted a necklace made of diamonds after Lord Rama returns after winning over Lanka Naresh Ravana. Hanuman examined the diamonds of the necklace, pulled them apart, and threw them away. He did it because he could not find Rama in any one of the diamonds. When asked if Lord Rama was inside of him, he ripped apart his chest, revealing his heart, as on-lookers saw the image of both Lord Rama, and Sita on his heart.
