Background

Star Ray TV is a pirate television station founded by Jan Pachul broadcasting in Toronto, Canada, since the late 1990s. Star Ray calls itself an independent community television channel, and produced content and shows with a community focus. The channel had a mascot, a german sheppard named Shadow, who appeared in the channel's children's show "Shadow and Friends".

Visuals: On a black grid, a grey or white circle is situated in the centre, white a blue rectangle near the top with "UHF" written in red, underneath it, "Channel" in the Westminster typeface in green and "15" in blue, towards the bottom, mirrored test patterns are at either side of a yellow square with the head of a German sheppard, representing Shadow.
