Background

Starbucks is a coffee company and coffee house chain founded in 1971. In 2006, they briefly went into the movie financing business. They financed two movies during this time: Akeelah and the Bee and Arctic Tale. DVDs of these films were also given in Starbucks locations.

Logo (April 28, 2006)

Visuals: On a black background, the Starbucks logo fades in. Next to this, there's the text "STARBUCKS ENTERTAINMENT", which zooms in and shines. The logo is filmed.

Technique: 2D digital animation.

Audio: The opening theme of the movie combined with a shining sound.

Availability: Only seen on Akeelah and the Bee. This was not used on Arctic Tale.
