Background

Starlight Media is a Chinese-owned film financier company founded by CEO Peter Luo in 2016. The company has an office in Beverly Hills, California.

Logo: On a background composed of mostly black paint-like liquids, a golden paintstroke draws, which then writes a golden "S". We then zoom out once it draws "tarlight". An italicized star is then drawn beside the "t", and fades out.

Variant: On Malignant, the logo has a videotape feel to it and glitches throughout.

Technique: CGI animation from Filmograph.

Music/Sounds: A majestic orchestra-like fanfare or the opening theme of the film.

Availability: Brand new. This first appeared on Malignant as a variant. The standard version made its first appearance on Filmograph's website, and later on Umma.
