Background

Wayang Tinggi Entertainment was renamed Starmedia Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. during 2008, still being a major record label.

Logo (2008-)

Visuals:

2008-2017: On a starry background, a twinkle appears. Five stars come flying down, similar to the 2002 and 2011 Paramount Pictures logo. The screen cuts to the mountains with some stars flying, while the camera flies toward the mountains. Some stars fly and bounce while flying toward the hills. The screen cuts to the stars flying towards a city in the sea, as the fireworks explode. The screen cuts to the stars flying toward the buildings while the fireworks explode each other. The screen cuts to the future-like buildings with roads and a building with a drive-in screen in front of it. The screen contains some psychedelic shapes, as the firework rockets appear flying up and the stars goes into the screen and disappear. Some psychedelic shapes disappear, and the screen explodes to form the Starmedia Entertainment logo (which consists of a stylized red "S" made up of four streaks). The screen zooms in, the logo slides quickly and the flare slides to form text reading "Starmedia" with "entertainment sdn bhd" and the Chinese translation of the company name, which reads "星樂娛樂集團", sandwiched horizontally between two pairs of two red lines, under it, leaving some particles.
2017-: Same as before; however, the screen is stretched to 16:9 aspect ratio, and after the "S" is formed on the screen, it wipes to a cropped still image of the final product of the logo, with "entertainment" replaced with "distrubution". The image zooms in and stretches to fit the aspect ratio of the screen.

Variant: On the 2017 Q-genz 巧千金 DVD, the background of the final product is white.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A somewhat dramatic synth theme with the sounds of thunder and whooshes, followed by a descending THX-esque synth piece.

Availability: Seen on releases from the company, such as the 2017 Q-genz 巧千金 DVD.
