1st Logo (1980s)

Logo: In space, we see a rectangle with "START" inside, flipping all around into place. At the same time, colored stars forming the text in the logo zoom out. When "START" settles in place, "STATE OF THE ART" appears below, and so does "Presents".

Variant: At the end of tapes, we see a still shot of just the "START" logo, but below that is "VIDEO" and their address. "Distributed by" appears above the logo.

FX/SFX: The stars and rectangle

Music/Sounds: A twinkling synth sounder with a synth choir sound. The variant has no music.

Availability: On a UK VHS of The Clue According to Sherlock Holmes.
