Background

This is the production company of James R. Stein and Bob Illes.

1st Logo (August 2, 1986)

Visuals: In a park setting, specifically in a shaded area underneath a large tree, Bob Illes, in a pose matching a dog, is shown in a steel blue-white striped button up shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes. In addition to this, he has a red frisbee in his mouth. On the lower center of the screen, "STEIN & ILLES PRODUCTIONS", in a stacked format and with a black border and shadow facing downwards, is shown.

Trivia: The logo is a parody of the Ubu Productions logo.

Technique: A photograph with computerized editing.

Audio: A man telling Illes "Sit Illes, sit!".

Availability: The logo is seen on the failed pilot, Sylvan in Paradise on NBC.

2nd Logo (July 2, 1990-May 11, 1991)

Visuals: Just the stacked text "STEIN & ILLES PRODUCTIONS" in Clarendon, placed on a blue background.

Variant: On The Jackie Bison show, the text is on a dark blue and black gradient background.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on the final season of Amen and The Jackie Bison Show.
