Background
Zespół Filmowy Zodiak, also known as Studio Filmowe Zodiak is a Polish film studio. It distributed 140+ films, along with with Entertainment One and Saregama Pvt., Ltd.
(1981-1992)
Logo: On a blue starry background, we see all of the zodiac signs in white zooming at us one by one. When one zodiac sign appears (excluding the first one), a ring emits behind the symbol. These zodiac signs include:
- Aries
- Taurus
- Gemini
- Cancer
- Leo
- Virgo
- Libra
- Scorpio
- Sagittarius
- Capricorn
- Aquarius
- Pisces
When the Pisces symbol gets close enough, the line in the center stretches inwards and outwards, forming the company's name, and the word: "PRZEDSTAWIA" all stacked on op of each other.
Variants:
- Most Variants are in B&W.
- One Variant is in Sepia tone.
- One Variant is in Blue and Green combined.
- One Variant has a purple tint of the original logo.
- From 1991 and onwards, the text: "Zespół Filmowy", is replaced with: "Studio Filmowe".
FX/SFX: The zodiac signs zooming in and the stretching of the text.
Music/Sounds: A quiet bell sound, followed by a high pitched breeze, ending with a sound of a gong.
Availability: Common, was seen on multiple films, such as: Znachor, Okolice Spokojego Morza, Bilek, Karate Po Polsku, and more.
Editor's Note: The design/animation is very weird and uncanny, combined with the creepy sounds and the unexpected ending will put most people on edge. But nevertheless, this logo is very clever and unique.
