Background: Sterling Home Entertainment was a joint venture between Lions Gate and Scanbox International, a Danish film company. It was founded in 1998 to release low-budget American B-movies on VHS/DVD. It was folded into Lions Gate in 2000. Sterling Home Entertainment was also renamed as "Studio Home Entertainment" said year, until 2001 when it was folded into Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
