'''Logo:''' Same as the 4th [[Scanbox Entertainment|Scanbox]] logo, but the when the swan transforms, the logo is now entirely silver and also a bit thicker, and the light effect around it is also different. When the pieces unfold, "STERLING" appears in a similar fashion to the lines in the Scanbox logo, and "HOME ENTERTAINMENT" then fades in below it. The logo then shines. Unlike the original logo, this is videotaped and presented in a widescreen format. |

Background
In 2000, Sterling Home Entertainment was renamed to Studio Home Entertainment after Lionsgate bought out Scanbox's control. It was one of the three home video companies that were merged, along with Avalanche Home Entertainment and Trimark Home Video for the formation of Lionsgate Home Entertainment's U.S. arm in 2001.
(2000-2001)
Logo: We zoom out spinning from a blue-tinted SMPTE universal film leader countdown surrounded by a white box. As the countdown finishes 3, a white S flashes to make way for a black S all in the same font as the countdown, which causes the 2 circles of the countdown to fly out, while it also remains in the countdown. The words "STUDIO" and "HOME ENTERTAINMENT", form atop and under the box respectively.
Technique: 2D animation.
Music/Sounds: Static, then a bang sound when the S appears, then a synth tune.
Availability: Rare, due to its 1 year lifespan. Can be seen on The Operator, Silent Witness, and The Million Dollar Hotel, among others.
