Background
Studio Małych Form Filmowych Se-ma-for was a Polish film and animation studio. Founded in Łódź in 1947, this company has created many animated cartoons and stop-motion puppet animations for young and mature audiences.
Logo (February 6, 1987-July 1989)
Visuals: The sequence starts with a bunch of twinkling stars against a black background. A few seconds later, there are four thin white lines with a long trail flying from the background, one on the left portion of the screen, one on the center-right, one which is off-screen, and one at the bottom. The lines form the yellow abstract letters "SMFF" after the stars dissolve, which is then followed by the words "se-ma-for" abruptly appearing along with the word "przedstawia" appearing below the letters. It then fades out after that.
Technique: Cel animation.
Audio: Four descending synth notes are heard at the beginning, which then proceeds to a synthesized cacophonic sting that echoes.
Availability: Its only known appearance was on Przyjaciel wesołego diabła and Bliskie spotkania z wesołym diabłem, the company's known feature films so far.
