Visuals:

  • Opening: After the credit text "Present A SUMMERISLE FILM RELEASE" fades out, a wooden carving of Nauda's face (the sun god that's worshipped) fades in and slowly zooms in towards the screen, eventually filling it all up before fading out.
  • Closing: The same close-up of Nauda's face is shown when it fades in, and zooms out before fading out again. "A SUMMERISLE FILM RELEASE" then appears before it fades out.

Technique: Zooming effects.

Audio: The opening or closing theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on US prints of The Wicker Man (1973).
