Background

Summertime Entertainment was an animation studio that produced one movie, Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return.

(May 9, 2014)

Visuals: On an almost entirely green background of grass and trees, we see a sprinkler in the grass hooked up to a hose and spraying back and forth. A boy cartwheels over the hose, avoiding the sprinkler's spray, but a young girl does get sprayed and screams. She is chased through the sprinkler by a black cairn terrier, which has a near identical design to Toto in the film that comes afterwards. The dog leaves as the lens starts to flare and the white text "Summertime" fades in. The black text "E N T E R T A I N M E N T" zooms in below.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A fanfare, with the same giggling sound taken from the Electric Entertainment logo, the girl screaming due to being sprayed by the sprinkler, and the terrier barking.

Availability: Was only seen on Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return.
