1st Logo (September 17, 1986-March 24, 1992)
Visuals: On a largely dark blue background, the entire logo is divided along the middle; the top half is blue with a yellow gradient resembling a sunrise, and the bottom half is dark blue with teal gradient lines along it that get more condensed as they get closer to the middle. From the middle of the screen, a large white light zooms in while an 8-pointed starburst rotates around it, which then rotates to its bottom to reveal a yellow beveled design, formed from steps and having a triangle-shaped top. The copies then swing onto themselves to form a single form of it, which then cross-fades over to the real logo, having the top half of the design in a more defined beveled shape with a white outline and a separate "sun" from the sunrays. As it fades to the logo, "SUNRISE FILMS" in a bold yellow font, zooms out and plasters itself along the bottom half.
Variants:
- On Black Death, the logo is now in a flat red color on a white background. Below it, there is "Sunrise Films Limited" in black and a IAW notice.
- An in-credit version of the above variant appears on Sam and Me.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A synth drone first plays, which is accompanied with synth whooshes, before a loud synth trumpet fanfare plays. Sometimes, the end theme of the show would play instead.
Availability: Seen on a few Canadian series and TV movies like Danger Bay, My Secret Identity, Hoover vs. the Kennedys: The Second Civil War, and possibly others.
2nd Logo (November 5, 1990-December 27, 1991)
Visuals: On a black background, a red scribble quickly draws in from left to right. Over the scribble, the text "A SUNRISE FILMS / FOSTERFILM PRODUCTION" appears in a purple font, with a sheen that scrolls off of it within the text. The text is also stacked, with "SUNRISE FILMS" and "FOSTERFILM" divided by a line.
Technique: Analog computer animation.
Audio: What sounds like a flock of birds taking off with their wings flapping, along with calls at the end.
Availability: Seen only on Max Glick.
