Background

Suomen Filmiteollisuus is a Finnish film company that opened in 2001. In 2005, Suomen Filmiteollisuus was bought by film director Markku Pölönen and his wife Satu Sadinkangas, with permission given for the SF name by Jari Nieminen. In early summer 2011, Pölönen sold over half of SF's assets to investors Ponsse and owners of the trading house Laakkonen.

Logo (2007-)

Visuals: On a cloudy background, there is a glass octagon facing sideways, spinning counterclockwise until it faces the viewer. Inside the octagon is "SF". The octagon turns white, then there is "SUOMEN FILMITEOLLISUUS" in white fade in.

Variant: On the trailer for Ralliraita, the logo slowly zooms in on a black background.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None or the opening theme of the film.

Audio Variant: An engine revving can be heard on the trailer for Ralliraita.

Availability: Can be spotted on all films made by the company since 2007.
