Note: Not to be confused with the previous incarnation of Suomen Filmiteollisuus.

Background

Suomen Filmiteollisuus was opened in 2001. In 2005, Suomen Filmiteollisuus was bought by film director Markku Pölönen and his wife Satu Sadinkangas, with permissions for the SF name by Jari Nieminen. In early summer 2011, Pölönen sold over half of SF's assets to investors, Ponsse and trading house Laakkonen's owners.

(2007-)

Nickname: "The Octagon"

Logo: In a cloudy background, we see a glass octagon being sideways, spinning counterclockwise. The octagon turns from left to right until it has turned in the middle and stopped spinning. Inside the octagon, we see "SF". The octagon turns white, then we see "SUOMEN FILMITEOLLISUUS" in white fade in.

Variant: In a black background, we see the octagon and "SUOMEN FILMITEOLLISUUS" zoom in. This can be seen in the trailer for Ralliraita.

FX/SFX: The logo spinning and moving, and the background zooming in. The Ralliraita trailer variant has the logo zooming in.

Music/Sounds: None.

Music/Sounds Variant: An engine revving can be heard on a trailer for Ralliraita.

Availability: Can be spotted on Lieksa! and a trailer for Ralliraita.
