Background
Suomen Filmiteollisuus is a Finnish film company that opened in 2001. In 2005, Suomen Filmiteollisuus was bought by film director Markku Pölönen and his wife Satu Sadinkangas, with permission given for the SF name by Jari Nieminen. In early summer 2011, Pölönen sold over half of SF's assets to investors Ponsse and owners of the trading house Laakkonen.
