Background
Supercell is a Finnish video game developer known for producing the hugely popular freemium mobile games Hay Day, Boom Beach and Clash of Clans as well as Clash Royale and Brawl Stars. The company was formed in 2010 and produced the little-known game Gunshine.net, before moving onto mobile titles and gaining more success. In 2013, 51% of the company was purchased by Japanese company GungHo Online Entertainment.
