Background

Syco Entertainment is a British multimedia entertainment company, headquartered in both London and Los Angeles, founded and owned by British entrepreneur and record executive Simon Cowell. It was formed in 2005, and is the successor to Syco TV.

1st Logo (August 29, 2013-)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a darkened set of stairs with the company name with spotlights behind them. The background brightens, turning white as the glow flashes in the center.

Trivia: This logo obviously pays homage to the various talent show competitions that have been created by Simon Cowell.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A flash sound with a electronic noise, or none after the closing theme.

Availability: This first appeared on One Direction: This Is Us, and has appeared on America's Got Talent since 2014. Also seen on America's Got Talent: The Champions, America's Got Talent: Extreme, America's Got Talent: All-Stars, and America's Got Talent: Fantasy League.

2nd Logo (September 11, 2013-)

Visuals: On a black background, there's the word "SYCO" colored in white with golden borders, spinning and shining. The golden word "ENTERTAINMENT" spins and reveals itself faster.

Variants:

  • On Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor, the logo animates as usual, but it also shares the screen with other logos, those being the 2012/2018 Thames logo on top, and the 2013 ITV logo underneath.
  • On The Greatest Dancer, it is a similar concept to before, except the logo is now beside the Thames logo, and the ITV logo has been replaced with the 1997 BBC Productions logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None or a whoosh-like noise.

Availability: Appeared on the company's shows starting in 2013, albeit non-America's Got Talent programmes, such as Britain's Got Talent and its spin offs, The X Factor and its spin offs, and The Greatest Dancer. This is currently being used in tandem with the previous logo.
