Background

This is the production arm of Television South West.



1st Logo (January 1, 1982-May 1985)

Visuals: The print logo of the 1982 TSW logo is on a black background with "Production" and a copyright notice underneath all in a Souvenir font.

Variants:

  • One variant had "Presentation" in a Souvenir font below it instead, which was seen at the end of movies and imported programmes.
  • On programmes produced for Channel 4, such as The Cut Price Comedy Show, among others, the (in-credit) logo would contain a small TSW logo against a black background with "A TSW-Television South West Limited Production for Channel Four" in a Souvenir font below.
  • A still variant exists, which was seen at the end of schools and colleges programmes, with "Schools & Colleges" in a Souvenir font below the logo.
