1st Logo (January 1, 1982-May 1985)
Visuals: The print logo of the 1982 TSW logo is on a black background with "Production" and a copyright notice underneath all in a Souvenir font.
Variants:
- One variant had "Presentation" in a Souvenir font below it instead.
- For Channel Four broadcasts from 1982 onwards, the (in-credit) logo would contain a small TSW logo against a black background with "A TSW-Television South West Limited Production for Channel Four" in a Souvenir font below.
- A still variant exists, which was seen at the end of schools and colleges programmes, with "Schools & Colleges" in a Souvenir font below the logo.
Technique: A still graphic.
Audio: The ending theme of the programme or none.
Availability: Appears on programmes by TSW from the time period, such as Gardens for All, Today South West, Mr TSW 1982, Judi, Judi Goes on Holiday, Pitch-In, and The Sands of Silence, among others. It was also seen on later series of One Per Cent of Us and Interpub, respectively.
2nd Logo (May 1985-September 1, 1989)
Visuals: On a wall background, the print logo from before is inside a black box. Underneath it is "A TSW PRODUCTION" and a copyright notice.
Variants:
- An early version has the logo smaller and within a blue-lime green gradient, transparent box. The background is also different and the text reads "A TSW PRESENTATION".
- Sometimes, the text says "A TSW OUTSIDE BROADCAST" or "A TSW PRODUCTION FOR CHANNEL FOUR" (for programmes produced for Channel 4).
Technique: A still graphic.
Audio: The ending theme of the programme or none.
Availability: Appears on programmes by TSW from the time period. [Examples?]
3rd Logo (1988-December 31, 1992)
Visuals: On a dark shaded marble background, the 1985 TSW logo is placed above "PRODUCTION", "PRESENTATION", or "PROGRAMME" in white.
Variants:
- An early version exists, consisting of the "TSW" text in a silver texture and the logo against a different marble background.
- Starting on September 1, 1989, the text now reads "A TELEVISION SOUTH WEST PRODUCTION FOR" with the 1989 ITV logo appearing below for networked programmes.
Technique: A still graphic.
Audio: The ending theme of the programme or none.
Availability: Appears on programmes by TSW from the time period. These include TSW Today and a September 24th, 1990 TSW airing of All the Right Moves, among others.
