Background
TV7 Pathé was a short-lived syndication channel founded in 1991 by Giancarlo Paretti, who owned Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios at the time. The channel wasn't affiliated with the Pathé we know and love, but rather a fake Pathé made by Paretti, after failing to buy the real thing. The channel signed off for good in 1992, following a lawsuit.
1st Logo
Logo:
14 yellow stars and a yellow ribbon fly onto a blue square over a lumpy white background. The stars form a circle (reminiscent of the EU flag) around the ribbon, which has formed a rooster. The words in yellow:
TV7 PATHE
fly in and:
Pubblicita.
fades in underneath.
Technique: CGI.
Music/Sounds:
A triumphant fanfare.
Availability: Extinct. The channel was short-lived, and because of that, so was this logo.
