Background

TVA standing for Televisie Vrij Apeldoorn was a pirate television channel in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. TVA broadcast via the cable network in Apeldoorn, like many Dutch pirate channels of the era, which gave it a large reach. The channel mostly broadcast content focused on events and people in Apeldoorn, as well as promotions for local businesses. The channel was very popular with apeldoorners.

1st Logo (1981-1982)

Visuals: A camera zooms into a CRT television and the fuzzy letters "TVA" can be seen displayed on the screen. A blue screen with "TVA" and "televisie vrij apeldoorn" in white appears which then fades out. The letters "TVA" in red form in zoomed in, fuzzy version of the previous screen, followed by a red CRT shape forming and covering them up, which features text "televisie vrij apeldoorn postbus 3510".
