TV Cidade Caxias

Background

TV Cidade Caxias is a Brazilian television station based in Caxias, a municipality in the state of Maranhão, in the Mid-North region of Brazil. It operates on canal 5 (channel 5), and is affiliated with RecordTV.

1st Logo (2013-Mid/Late 2010s/2020)

Logo: On a dark background, a blue flash flies (or slides) into the top left corner of the screen, a lots of white dust flies out of the screen, and the word "Record" zooms in from the blue flash to the bottom center of the background. As the word "Record" zooms in, the background changes its color into white, and the blue flash fades out. Then, as soon as there is only the word "Record" on the white background, the background becomes a blue-gray silhouette of the map of South America (The word "Record" still appears). And when it quickly zooms in, it turns out to be the 2012 RecordTV (Rede Record) logo. After that, an orange flash occurs around the RecordTV logo, the blue flash appears and a lot of white dust flies out of the screen, again, the word "Caxias" zooms in from the silhouette of the map of South America, and all of that things fades out (except the word "Caxias"), the background turns into black, left alone the "Caxias" word, "Record" word and the 2012 RecordTV logo.

FX/SFX: All of the things that happen in this logo, which just completely screams of the animation standard of the 2010's Brazillian local "vinheta".

Music/Sounds: The loud robotic whoosh at the beginning, followed by the tail-end of Rede Record's 2012 jingle, which rapidly increases volume to ludicrous levels.

Availability: Extinct.

Editor's Note: The music of this logo is just plain out loud and just ter-ri-ble! In fact, the music of this logo is so loud and painful, that it is even managing to compete with the 2nd logo from Colombiana de Television! And that is not a good sign when your music can compete with a logo that was considered the loudest logo ever made by logo fans! But at least with the 2nd Colombiana de Television logo, it has good scanimation for the time period. But with this logo however, it's just another crappy and cheaply-made Brazillian local station id.

2nd Logo (2020-Present)

Logo: At the beginning, we see the first 5 seconds of the TV Cidade São Luís 2016 logo (On a blue background, the red powder flies at the right, while the blue powder flies at the left, and both of them fly like a spiral. Then, the green powder and the orange powder appear, simultaneously fly in the left direction and the right direction, and smash together at the center of the screen. After they smash together, the part of the logo (the green and orange waves) with the gray word "TV" appear and the red powder smash the blue powder at the center.)
