Background
Taiho Company, Ltd. (大宝株式会社) was a Japanese film distribution company. It was spun off from the distribution department of Shintoho which declared bankruptcy on August 31, 1961. The company was established the day after on September 1, 1961. However, just four months later on January 10, 1962, the company suspended operations.
