Background

Takhayal Entertainment was a film production company from Egypt.

Logo (February 15, 2006)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a small white circle moving around. There is then a microscopic spec, it zooms in to see a cartoon red ant practicing vocally (presumably scatting). It then looks at the viewer surprised, then it lifts its hand and closes one of its eyes, laughs, and then opens its hand revealing a ball with orange-brown-white smoke (a la Vue Cinemas). The screen then zooms into the ball and then stops in an extreme close-up. It then zooms again to the viewer beyond the closeup to reveal a zooming-in orange sunburst background, which features a white-red rectangle, which in its red borders, says the company's name in Arabic, and the text "Takhayal Entertainment" on the bottom of the rectangle. The orange sunburst disappears and the logo flashes. It then fades out.

Technique: A combination of cel animation for ant and the CGI graphics for the rest.

Audio: The ant scatting, a "wah wah" when the ant spots the viewer, an "uh huh" when he peeks in his hands, laughs (sounding a bit like Woody Woodpecker), following an overly fast ascending flute sound, a high-pitched motor sound, some split-second boops (possibly overlaying a synthesizer), which segues into a whoosh and then an explosion is heard. To end this, the first part of Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 "Fate" was heard.

Availability: The only film in which this logo was spotted is on Young Parents/الأباء الصغار.
