== 1953 and 1977 logos ==

I do believe they should be merged back; after all, the 1977 logo is really the same as the 1953 one, just more cartoony looking. == The 1977 variant is fake ==

It is rather an extended version of the pre-car chase sequence from ''The Cannonball Run'' variant. There are two particular frames from both logos that match up perfectly: their film scratches:
[[File:20th Century Fox Cannonball Run variant comparison to 1977 variant.png|center|800px]]
To add more doubt on the legitimacy of this variant, there is no source for this logo and according to this page, it states it is from 1977 (even though ''The Cannonball Run'', the source for this logo, was released in 1981). Even when you dig through the comments of the alleged variant, many users are aware the logo is lifted from said logo variation. Too many photos / videos?

Anybody else think this page is getting way too cluttered with all the photos and videos? It's getting to the point where I can't view this page on mobile without it crashing. We should seriously consider paring it down. Logofreak98 (talk) 19:16, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

The 1977 variant is fake

It is rather an extended version of the pre-car chase sequence from The Cannonball Run variant. There are two particular frames from both logos that match up perfectly: their film scratches:

To add more doubt on the legitimacy of this variant, there is no source for this logo and according to this page, it states it is from 1977 (even though The Cannonball Run, the source for this logo, was released in 1981). Even when you dig through the comments of the alleged variant, many users are aware the logo is lifted from said logo variation. Camenati (talk) 17:09, 16 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
