Quick Talk Page Tutorial

To sign comments type four tildes (~) in a row after your post. to reply to someone, go below the post you want to reply to and indent with ":", then write your post.Hb1290 (talk) 01:31, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

The Rules

So are we just going to bring the rules we had on the old wiki across? If so, there's quite a few rules that need to be reworked or deleted entirely and maybe some new ones we need to add. Hb1290 (talk) 01:49, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

We need to figure out a new rule page. In due time... MatthewLMayfield (talk) 23:12, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Formatting guide

Will the formatting remain the same or changed? Because this editing system is far different (though similar to Fandom). I think can be used to do useful things. For example, templates (like the ones from Logopedia, to catalog pages from the same company). Some basic things (colored or lined words, and positioning photos, among others) are shown in the MediaWiki "help" page (and maybe more things). Sorry if this is not the correct place to put comments. --Űɳneþɑd 21:18, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Unnepad I think this is a pretty good example of a page on the new wiki Hb1290 (talk) 21:56, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hb1290 Yes, it looks good. Though, it would rather change the "th logo" subtitles to Level 4. It looks improper as a Heading (which is more proper for separating company/channels names) --Űɳneþɑd 22:53, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Unnepad OK, I fixed the heading, but to Level 3, because I think it fits more. --DisneyInternationalFan (talk) 05:24, 6 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Like some help please in tranferring pages

  • I don't know when and if Travis will shut down the old Wiki, and because I have plenty of free time now due to this pandemic, I'm trying my damnedest to get everything from the old Wiki to the new. I would like some help moving descriptions and creating new pages here. Lot of ground to cover and so far it's only been me and Livin' doing this work. I would prefer to wait for the formatting to be done later and concentrate on getting everything moved. Can more people please help me with this? It will make things easier for all of us and speed up the process. Thanks MatthewLMayfield (talk) 09:35, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Visual Editor Now Available

Hopefully now, it will make editing easier. Thanks for Ethan for showing me this MatthewLMayfield (talk) 22:55, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

About the Future of Company Bumpers

It is still a separate entry from the CLG Wiki, but if anyone wants to take a crack at creating a new wiki for it, go here and request a Wiki. I'll leave a link here: https://meta.miraheze.org/wiki/Miraheze MatthewLMayfield (talk) 23:11, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ping on talk pages is now working

markup is: {{reply_to|yournamehere}}. This results in @yournamehere and notifies the user of a ping.

Company Bumpers Wiki Now Open

Can someone please make a list of all the last Scare Factors of the logos from the old CLG Wiki?

So there’s this YouTube series I like called It’s Not Scary, it’s by Jay Productions, and shutting down the old WikiFoundry site is putting the series in danger, as it shows the last scare factors of the logo with a High or Nightmare ranking, and the scare factors are on the old WikiFoundry site, so please make a list of the last scare factors.

SonicFan91 (talk) I'd suggest using the Wayback Machine Hb1290 (talk) 23:33, 6 May 2020 (UTC) Yea, but not all the pages are probably there. --SonicFan91 (talk) 11:31, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

BRING IT BACK - as well as the editor's note too Malmsimp (talk) 08:36, 8 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I know we've covered that they're probably not all on here, but this capture (the only one without an error screen I could find before the page was deleted) has 342 of them. I'm currently looking into combing through all the pages from this time and making a Google Doc with the list you asked for, just in case this is missing any. New Tutorial

Would it be a good idea to have a font tutorial for people who are interested about finding fonts of specific logos? Sounds good. --SonicFan91 (talk) 11:32, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Will pictures ever be added?

Maybe after all the descriptions are put up. TheNate (talk) 15:14, 7 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Can somebody add Lyrick Studios to this new wiki?

12th May 2020

Welcome to CLG Wiki on Miraheze - please start adding images to the logos as this will be our new home.

CLG Wiki - now powered by Miraheze. ENJOY THE CHANGE

Malmsimp (talk) 13:08, 12 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

The old CLG Wiki is back. --SonicFan91 (talk) 17:37, 14 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Education and piracy logos

On the WF site there's a section for education and piracy logos. I think they should be added on the homepage. Logohub (talk) 19:06, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

How to add page?

Search the page name in the searchbar and it'll give you the option to make the page. Either way, the page in question already exists here. Hb1290 (talk) 01:27, 8 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
