Background

This is the vanity card of Ronald D. Moore; who previously formed R&D TV with David Eick. The company name comes from Moore's love of ships as a child.

1st Logo (June 26, 2009-April 10, 2015)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a boxed picture of a ship out at sea against a stormy cloudy sky, with some explosions going off from the cannon. Another ship is seen in the distance. The picture also animates slightly, such as the waves and the flag on top. Below it is the company name in a white Old English-esque font.

Variant: On the Virtuality television pilot, the logo is next to the Look Ma! No Hands logo, and the text is inside the picture.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The closing theme.

Availability: Seen on the Virtuality television pilot, the unaired pilot of 17th Precinct and was later seen on season 1 and early season 2 episodes of Helix. Despite the logo being replaced seven months later in 2014, it remained in use until that series' end.

2nd Logo (August 9, 2014-)

Visuals: On a black background is the same concept from before, although it's now in a different environment. There is now a different ship sailing out at sea on a morning cloudy sky with two ships in the distance also sailing out. The picture animates like before, such as the waves moving and the ships, and is also now given a tan border around it. Below it is the company name in a different small caps font, in the same color as the border.

Variant: Sometimes, the logo is still.

Technique: Same as before.

Audio: The sounds of sea washing with a seagull calling, or the closing theme.

Availability: Seen on Outlander, For All Mankind and Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams.
