Background

Talwar Productions was an Indian film studio founded by film director Vinod Talwar.

1st Logo (April 1984)

Logo: It's just the stock footage of a statue of Durga surrounded by candles, which is later used on the 2nd logo of Manish Films.

FX/SFX: The lights slowly turning up.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Rare. It was only seen on Ishq Nimana.

2nd Logo (1987-1990's)

Logo: In a dark room, we see a statue of the goddess Durga (a la Manish Films), surrounded by two plants. Then, a beam comes from her hand (a la Balakrishna Movies), which forms into white text that says "Talwar Productions".

Variants:

  • On Khooni Panja, the text is cheaply replaced by a purple box with "Talwar International" on it, Basically a plaster.

FX/SFX: the beam and the text appearing.

Music/Sounds: A descending tune, with 3 notes coming after, which sounds like the title card music from Rugrats. Khooni Panja has it silent.

Availability: Uncommon. It was seen on their films during the time, such as Raat Ke Andhere Mein, Wohi Bhayanak Raat and Khooni Panja.
