Background

Tecmo was a Japanese video game company that was originally formed in 1964 as the Imperial Trustee Corporation. It was later renamed to Tekhan in 1977, and then Tecmo in 1986. In 1987, it was merged with Tehkan Electronics Corporation to form a new Tecmo. The company's greatest successes include the Ninja Gaiden games and the Tecmo Bowl series. On April 1, 2009, Koei and Tecmo merged to form Tecmo Koei Holdings (now Koei Tecmo Games), though both companies still use their own respective names for game development.

1st Logo (Still variants) (1986-September 30, 2010)

2nd Logo (July 20, 1990-November 1992)

Logo: We see a rabbit which stands next to the logo from before. Below that, we see the text "PRESENTS" or "THEATER".

3rd Logo (July 17, 1992-April 3, 1993)
