2nd ID (May 10, 2004-)

Visuals:

  • Startup: There is a shot of Yokohama during daytime as cubes containing the letters, "t" "v" and "k" zoom in, traversing around shots of the multiple cities of the Kanagawa Prefecture while the TVK cubes traverse around it and the station information is shown at the bottom. After that, the 2004 TVK logo, consisting of the letters "TVK" in lowercase on a blue cube appear as the cubes zoom out.
  • Closedown: There is a shot of Yokohama during night time as the "tvk" cubes appear, traversing around multiple shots of Yokohama and other Kanagawa Prefecture cities, during nighttime and the station information is shown at the bottom. After that, the 2004 TVK logo appears on a shot of Yokohama as the cubes zoom out before fading to black.

Variant: When TVK started digital broadcasts on December 1, 2004, the cube animation was reanimated with the shots of the cities in Kanagawa being changed to differ from the analog feed (both startup and closedown). The TVK logo is now in white during the startup and closedown sequences, while the station information is absent in order to make room for the DTV information.

Technique: A mix of CGI and live-action footage.

Audio:

  • Startup: An upbeat electronic synth theme.
  • Closedown: A twilight xylophone and violin theme.
