Background

Tempo TV Classics was a sub-label of Abbey Home Media that released cult shows on DVD.

(2005-2009)

Logo: On a white background, we see a yellow rectangle with a spinning blue oval. Then the "Tempo" text from the Tempo logo in red appears from the top and "Classics" appears on the bottom, and the blue oval stops spinning when a drawing of a television and the word "TV" appears inside it by stretching.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: Just a ping sound when the "TV" appears.

Availability:

  • Seen on Abbey Home Media releases in the UK that were released under the label, mainly FilmFair shows such as The Adventures of Paddington, Portland Bill, The Wombles, The Herbs, The Adventures of Parsley, Nellie the Elephant, The Dreamstone and Huxley Pig, among others.
  • Also showed up on the 2007 reissues of several animated movies, such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
