1st Logo (1986-1990)

Logo: On a white background, a blue striped line grows and a V of the same font with extended tops is wiped in, forming "TV". The letters "empo" and "ideo" wipe into the screen in a Helvetica font after the T and V respectively. "Children's Stories" in a Garamond-like font then fades into view.

FX/SFX: The drawing, wiping and fading in of the logo.

Music/Sounds: The logo begins with a string-like synth drone. A descending piano sting plays when the words wipe in, and a high pitched sawtooth sting plays when "Children's Stories" fades into view. The drone continues until the logo begins to fade out. Sometimes, it's silent.

Availability: Rare. Appears on Tempo Video releases under MSD Video and Wm. Collins/Collins Video.

Editor's Note: The logo's animation is very dated, even when it was first made.

2nd Logo (1990-2000, 2003)

Abbey Home Entertainment/Tempo Video (1987-2002)

Note: For proper viewing of the logo on the 3rd video, please go to 0:21 of the video.

Logo: On a white background, we see the Abbey Home Entertainment logo spinning towards the viewer. After the AHE logo flies to the upper left of the screen, the animation from the Tempo Video logo, minus the "Children's Stories" text below, occurs.

Variant: On the VHS and DVD releases of The New Adventures of Mona the Vampire and the VHS release of Mona the Vampire: The Book of the Slimey, the logo is still.

FX/SFX: The AHE logo spinning in, and the Tempo Video logo wiping in.

Music/Sounds: A hard rock stinger when the AHE logo spins in, sourced from the Bruton Music library; then the rest of the logo is silent. In later years, chimes sound when the Tempo Video logo wipes in.

Availability: Seen on Abbey Home Entertainment Tempo Video releases, such as Anytime Tales, Bump and Fun Song Factory. It strangely appeared at the end of the 2003 DVD of Mr. Men: The Great Alphabet Hunt, itself being a simple transfer from its VHS counterpart, as well as on the aforementioned Mona the Vampire releases, in which this was used instead of the new Tempo logo.

Editor's Note: Same as the 1st logo.
