Logo: On a black background, several silver stripes swirl into view to create a striped, glowing sphere (similar to the AT&T logo). As the striped sphere shrinks away from the screen, it comes into clearer focus, and some of the stripes towards the foreground vanish. The words:
Nova
Films
fade in towards the bottom right of the sphere.
FX/SFX: The swirling silver lines, which were produced with CGI. The fading in of the text was achieved using a Gaussian blur.
Music/Sounds: A pleasant, five-note stinger played on a nylon-stringed guitar. The first four notes (E, D, C, D) are played in a higher octave, with the final note (G) played as a gently-strummed chord.
Availability: Available on any Terra Nova-produced educational films, such as Assessing the Nutrition of Older Adults.
Editor's Note: None.
