Screen (1978-1998)

Visuals: On a black background is the word "WARNING" and warning text below in white in an Arial font.

Trivia: All three variants of this warning have a punctuation error: a comma should be placed between "copying" and "re-recording".

Variants:

  • On early VHS releases, such as the original printings of the first four Learn with Sooty VHS releases, the background is dark blue and the text is also in Helvetica Bold.
  • Starting in 1991, the word "WARNING" and warning text appear below in white, now in a Friz Quadrata font and surrounded by a white border.

Technique: Chyron effects.

Audio: None.

Availability: Appears on Thames Video releases in the UK from the time-period until 1998. [Examples?]
